Healthy Monday Syracuse has partnered with our community to support you in your journey to quit.

There are many ways for tobacco users to use Monday as their day to quit, recommit to quit, or quit again after a relapse. Quit and Stay Quit Monday offers a variety of free resources for quitters and cessation specialists on their website.

Recently, QSQM joined forces with SmokeFreeUS and SmokeFreeWomen to encourage smokers to start and sustain their quit. Follow SmokeFreeUS and SmokeFreeWomen on Facebook to get tips on a successful quit!

Syracuse University became a smoke and tobacco-free campus in July 2015. Syracuse University Wellness Initiative offers a variety of resources for staff and faculty who wish to quit. Syracuse University Health Services provides cessation support for students who wish to quit. Call 315-443-9005 to schedule an appointment with a provider.

SUNY Upstate Medical University became a tobacco-free campus in 2005 and since then has provided tobacco-cessation programs for employees, students and volunteers.  There are tobacco cessation classes for members of the community through their Healthlink Program.
