Monday – the day all health breaks loose!
Healthy Monday is an initiative of The Monday Campaigns and was founded in 2005 in association with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, and Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
Healthy Monday is a national public health initiative to help end chronic preventable diseases by offering weekly prompts to support people and organizations in starting and sustaining healthy behaviors. It is the signature program of the Syracuse University Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion.
Celebrating the Life of Sid Lerner
The Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion was established in 2011 thanks to a generous gift from Sid and Helaine Lerner. After retiring from a successful career in advertising, Sid Lerner turned his attention to improving public health and launched the Monday Campaigns in the early-2000s to motivate people to view Monday as the day we collectively dedicate ourselves to better health. Please join us in celebrating Sid’s life and learning about his impactful contributions to public health.
