DeStress Monday is Healthy Monday program that highlights Monday as a day to start fresh mentally and emotionally and supports a positive perspective for the week. DeStress Monday offers evidence based tools and tactics like mindfulness practices, breathing exercises, meditations, and kindness and gratitude activities.

DeStress Monday Workshop Series:

We’re excited to share that our DeStress Monday workshop series, DeStress for Success, is converted to videos for remote access. View the DeStress for Success video series here.

Program Coordinator Mary Kate Lee and Grad Student Bhoomi Thakkar co-facilitate the Mindful Communication workshop.

DeStress for Success is a five week workshop series based on the science of Positive Psychology. These workshops help participants gain skills to increase resilience, positively cope with stress, cultivate mindfulness, strengthen communication skills, and form healthy habits, through introspection, positive psychology based practices, and DeStress Monday tips.

Our inaugural undergraduate receives the Healthy Monday certificate

Participants are given resources to create sustainable habits that support their well being. During each workshop, we will dive into an aspect of positive psychology, including: positive emotions, mindfulness and flow states, communication and conflict resolution, and using your strengths.
